Job Summary
Schedule and coordinate transportation for residents to medical appointments, social events, and facility activities while safely operating company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and facility policies. Assist residents in and out of vehicles, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety, and perform basic vehicle checks to maintain safe working order. Maintain accurate records of trips, schedules, mileage, and vehicle maintenance while communicating professionally with residents, families, and staff to update transportation needs. Adhere to all healthcare, infection control, and transportation regulations. Full-time position in Sunrise Manor, Amelia, OH; STNA certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Current STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) certification
- Must be able to assist residents with mobility needs
- Must be able to perform light vehicle upkeep
- Must maintain a professional, patient, and respectful demeanor with residents, families, and coworkers
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a driver, transportation aide, or similar role in healthcare
