Job Summary
Lead a team of engineers and drafters to deliver roadway, structural, and infrastructure projects, coordinating with subconsultants and WisDOT agencies. Direct staff on project engineering, prepare design and environmental reports, and assist with proposal and contract preparation. Manage project financials and participate in quality control and assurance processes while developing client relationships. Requires a PE license, 5-15+ years of transportation design experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Join our mentor-mentee culture to grow professionally and personally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- PE license required (Wisconsin), or ability to obtain in 6 months
- 5-15+ years of progressive experience in transportation design
- Familiarity with Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) design engineering practices, standards, and documentation
- Ability to collaborate with the design team, clients, and agencies
- Good decision-making skills, flexibility, focus on quality, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- AutoCAD and Civil3D knowledge is ideal
