Job Summary
Dispatches Truck Drivers (CDL and Non-CDL) for conveyance of materials in a safe manner, coordinating and communicating with GCNA divisions, handling emails/phone calls promptly, maintaining dispatch records, coordinating equipment/vehicle needs per work orders, and ensuring safety rules are followed; requires high school diploma or GED or equivalent, 1 year of customer service/dispatch experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Includes responsibilities such as maintaining files and responding to customer requests, scheduling and dispatching drivers safely, and providing feedback to transportation leadership; opportunities for comprehensive benefits and teamwork aligned with GCNA core values.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required
- One year of customer service experience or dispatch experience required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Ability to speak and read English proficiently
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position
