Job Summary
Design roadways, intersections, signal systems, and drainage plans under supervision while coordinating with Project Managers and CAD technicians. Prepare calculations for engineering projects, conduct research studies, and maintain organized project files for team access. Delegate tasks to technical staff, supervise ongoing work, and assist CAD technicians in developing new skills. Interface with agencies for plan checks and create client exhibits while ensuring high-quality control. Work on arterial/freeway design, lighting, signing, and traffic signal projects. Requires proficiency in Civil 3D and Microsoft programs, with on-site presence in Reno, NV.
Required Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be proficient in Civil 3D
- Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles
- Bachelor of Science degree in appropriate engineering discipline preferred and at least three (3) years of experience using AutoCAD Civil 3Dsoftware is required
