Job Summary
Transportation Design Project Manager to lead civil transportation design initiatives, developing civil design plans, specifications, and cost estimates; managing project schedules and budgets; assigning tasks and supervising completion; assisting junior engineers with technical support and skill development; coordinating with clients and subconsultants; and reviewing design calculations. Requires a BS in Civil Engineering, 8-15 years of civil transportation design experience, and a PE license in IL or reciprocity, with proficiency in MS Office, ProjectWise, Bluebeam and/or Adobe. Preferred familiarity with Open Roads, proposal preparation, and experience managing people and projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- 8-15 years of experience in civil transportation centric design
- Phase I/II design experience with IDOT, Tollway, CDOT or similar
- PE license in IL or reciprocity within 1 year
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ProjectWise, Bluebeam and/or Adobe
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Team player mindset
