Job Summary
Transportation Design Engineer – Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex roadway and highway projects in Boston, MA. Role combines technical expertise with project leadership, guiding multidisciplinary teams, mentoring junior staff, and managing scopes, budgets, and schedules across municipal and state clients. Responsibilities include leading projects from concept through construction, coordinating internal teams, supporting business development, and ensuring compliance with DOT standards. Required: Civil Engineering degree (PE license), 10+ years in transportation engineering, roadway design expertise; Master’s preferred. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 10+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Roadway/highway design experience
- Experience with DOT agencies (Connecticut DOT experience strongly preferred)
