Job Summary
Kick off projects by participating in planning meetings, researching governing standards, and collecting site data for design inputs. Produce transportation designs through calculations and CADD layouts, conducting analyses to support submittals and evaluating work against industry regulations. Draft construction documents, prepare cost estimates, and track design revisions while collaborating with peers to ensure quality compliance. Identify constructability issues, answer engineering questions during construction, and maintain safety protocols by wearing PPE and reporting hazards.
Required Qualifications
- 2-6 years of relevant Transportation Design experience
- B.S. Civil Engineering Degree
- P.E. licensure or EI with ability to obtain PE license
- Occasional travel to job sites, client offices, and other meeting places
- Valid driver's license
- Appropriate auto insurance coverage
- Acceptable driving record
- Maintaining required certification and/or licensure
- Attending relevant training
- Demonstrating the application of skills learned
- Working with your direct supervisor or manager to determine developmental needs related to your personal development and Basis Partners' goals and objectives
