Job Summary
Direct highway maintenance and construction crews under limited supervision, managing bridge, traffic, and project work during night shifts. Operate heavy motorized equipment as needed while overseeing crew activities for regional maintenance projects. Requires valid Class A motor vehicle license and 30-hour OSHA Safety course completion.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year combination of experience, or education in highway/bridge construction, fleet equipment repair, or transportation related maintenance including at least one year of lead worker experience
- high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A motor vehicle license as issued by the State of Maine
- completion of the 30-hour OSHA Safety course in construction (20 CFR Part 1926)
- U.S. Citizens, Permanent Residents, or H-2A, H-2B, or E-2 visa holders
