Job Summary
Oversee all transportation responsibilities for the Edgerton Kansas Mixing Center, including daily route order execution, carrier performance tracking, and troubleshooting loads at risk of missing arrival dates. Schedule inbound and outbound shipments with third-party logistics partners, manage dock capacity appointments, and ensure compliance with PepsiCo guidelines on weight and shipment methods. Maintain reason code input in SAP for open order status reporting, review previous day's dock schedules for rescheduling, and deliver daily and weekly KPIs to the Center of Excellence and service team. Account for Sarbanes Oxley compliance with transit receipt and shipment status reports while cross-training to support other service center functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain
- One to two years of experience in transportation or logistical operations
- Proven ability to lead teams, influence across functions, and drive results in a fast-paced, startup-like environment while leading with a mindset to exceed all Objectives/Metrics
- Familiarity with WMS, SAP, transportation systems, and labor management systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent cross functional collaboration, team building skills, and the ability to influence in a matrixed environment
- Comfortable working in unstructured environments and making quick, informed decisions
- Occasional travel required (less than 10%)
