Job Summary
The Transportation Coordinator at Macon HealthCare Center is responsible for setting up and scheduling appointments, transporting residents to their appointments, and maintaining strict client confidentiality. Candidates must possess a valid State Driver's License and be capable of passing a Chauffeur's license test and background check. Essential skills include CPR/AED certification (assistance available), smartphone ownership, and proficiency in using GPS/technology systems. Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist passengers, as well as effective communication skills in English, are required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid State Driver's License
- Pass Chauffeur's license test
- Pass a background check
- CPR/AED Certified
- Smartphone ownership
- No physical impairment affecting driving
- Ability to lift and/or pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist passengers with mobility needs
- Ability to climb in and out of the vehicle
- Ability to bend and reach for securing wheelchairs or stretchers
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
