2nd Shift Transportation Coordinator at Hytrol Conveyor Company in Jonesboro, AR coordinates carrier scheduling and communications between carriers, integration partners, and customers. Responsible for shipping documentation (bills of lading, export docs), freight management, data management and reporting, issue resolution, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure compliant, timely, and accurate transportation operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 to 11 months of hands-on experience in a transportation, logistics, or supply chain coordination role
- Experience handling freight coordination, transportation documents, and working with carriers or third-party logistics providers is highly desirable
- Prior experience managing high volumes of communication (calls/emails) and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service orientation with strong problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and communication
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of logistics documentation and transportation terminology
- High School Diploma or GED required. Additional education through night school, trade school, or correspondence programs equivalent to two years of college is preferred.
