Transportation Coordinator/Driver

Job Summary
Coordinate transportation of patients to medical appointments and activity outings, load/unload patients safely, and ensure compliance with Life Care standards. Perform pre-trip inspections, monitor vehicle maintenance, and exhibit excellent customer service. Maintain confidentiality, communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team, and adhere to company policies and Code of Conduct. Requires high school graduate or equivalent and a valid license (CDL/driver’s license) with a satisfactory driving record; experience in health care or geriatrics preferred. The role involves safely transporting patients, assisting in evacuation when needed, and maintaining professionalism and safety throughout all duties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license or CDL with a satisfactory driving record per Life Care standards
- Prior experience in health care or geriatrics preferred
- Complete pre inspections before use of vehicle
- Monitor regular maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.)
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
