Job Summary
Administer internal billing and external invoices within Dispatching Solutions software, ensuring accurate load invoicing and vendor code accuracy. Maintain DOT files, track state permits to prevent coverage lapses, and manage fleet maintenance schedules while analyzing data for cost tracking and efficiency reports. Support dispatchers with business detail, compile overtime and resource reports, and handle accounts payable tasks including PO assignment. Requires high school diploma or two to three years of transportation industry experience, basic PC skills, and knowledge of accounting principles. This role involves 10% required travel and sits within a quiet environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two to three years' experience in the transportation industry
- Training in the transportation industry
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to solve practical problems
- Ability to deal with a variety of concrete variables
- Basic PC skills
- Working knowledge of spreadsheet platforms
- Working knowledge of database platforms
- Working knowledge of web based computer platforms
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
