Job Summary
Answer OSIs and inbound calls from sales reps and Medline employees; determine which modes of transportation to move products between branches, into manufacturing facilities, or to Medline customers; communicate with carriers, operations, and sales teams, and interact with customers as required; participate in scheduling and inside delivery initiatives; secure rush carriers when needed; preferred qualifications include a degree in Logistics/Transportation/Finance/Business or equivalent experience and experience with SAP.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience serving as a Transportation Coordinator or related position
- Knowledge of transportation practices
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis
- Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Logistics / Transportation / Finance / Business or equivalent experience
- Experience with SAP
