Transportation Construction Inspector (Full-Time)

Job Summary

Provide on-site compliance inspection, quality assurance, and progress monitoring for transportation construction projects, including roadway widening, bridges, and utilities. Communicate with contractors to address discrepancies and verify materials against tested specifications. Maintain project records through daily diaries, calculate geometric measurements, and assist with payment applications and punchlists. Ensure highway work zones and traffic control meet current standards while performing basic surveying and materials testing. Navigate uneven terrain outdoors in various weather conditions. Requires valid driver's license, OSHA certification, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Full-time role with hourly rate of $30.00 to $36.00.
