Transportation Compliance Specialist

Job Summary
Ensure vehicles are registered and compliant across Canadian jurisdictions by managing administrative tasks for license plates, registrations, and insurance certificates. Oversee regulatory programs including IFTA and IRP, while auditing daily driver logs and maintaining safety fitness certifications for US DOT fleets. Track transportation budgets, report on violations to operational teams, and manage motor vehicle collision claims with monthly cost analysis. Review and develop compliance policies aligned with traffic legislation, coordinate annual permit renewals, and provide timely support for vehicle document requests.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years' experience in Fleet/Transportation administration
- Post-secondary diploma in business/management or equivalent
- Strong computer skills in relation to Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
- Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Class 5 driver's license with no more than 5 demerit points in the last 3 years
