Transportation Bus Driver

Provide student transportation on scheduled routes and field trips, ensuring safe operation of school buses and the safety of students during transport. Responsibilities include pre-trip and post-trip inspections, safe loading/unloading, notifying parents and staff of route information, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, conducting emergency evacuation drills, fueling and general vehicle maintenance, and adhering to safety guidelines and school district policies. Requires the ability to communicate with diverse groups, operate district vehicles and safety equipment, and maintain accurate records; education requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent; CPR/First Aid and CDL School Bus Endorsement are required certificates, with background checks and DOT physical as part of employment.
