Job Summary
Manage incoming and outgoing shipping logistics by performing daily check calls on loads in transit and originating necessary documentation for freight bills. Contact new customers to drive acquisitions, build profitable volume with existing shippers, and develop relationships with carriers to increase capacity. Negotiate market freight rates, determine fair pricing for trucks and shippers, and recommend solutions to senior brokers for complex customer problems. Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and uphold company standards while maintaining excellent communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 year's experience in Freight Brokerage/customer service
