Job Summary
Assist the Transportation Bridge Department with structural design and civil engineering services for municipal, county, and state clients. Design solutions for bridge, retaining wall, roadway, drainage, underground utility, and infrastructure improvement projects while preparing engineering plans and specifications using State DOT Standards. Process Federal Aid Phase I and II projects and support business development through proposal and project approach writing. Assist project engineers and managers as needed. Requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering, five years of relevant experience, and a PE License. Ability to travel throughout the service area with own transportation. Salary is commensurate with experience; no sponsorship authorized.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant job experience working on municipal/highway agency transportation projects
- PE License
- Ability to travel throughout service area with own transportation
