Job Summary
Conduct shunt trailer and shipping duties, safely operate all required equipment, and unload trailers with a pump truck. Deliver premium pork products to customers on time while maintaining high customer service standards. Complete all necessary paperwork, including Bills of Lading and invoices, and perform comprehensive pre-trip inspections to identify and report vehicle deficiencies. Drive defensively at all times, adhere to regulatory requirements, and ensure compliance with health and safety policies by reporting hazards, accidents, and injuries. Operate assigned equipment in a safe manner and maintain a clean work environment. Work a 4-day, 10-hour afternoon shift in hot and cold environments, communicating with dispatch and reporting to the Shipping Supervisor or Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Holds a valid AZ License
- Good verbal communication skills (oral & written)
- Strong interpersonal skills / team orientation
- Ability to be flexible and learn new tasks
- Ability to make decisions
