Job Summary
Transportation Associate Broker supports brokers with new business quote processing and submissions; prepares client-ready proposals and coverage summaries; reviews submissions and policies for accuracy in coverage, terms, and documentation; acts as a second set of eyes on deals prior to binding; assists with marketing efforts and carrier communication; provides support on endorsements and policy changes during peak workflow periods; works across transportation risks including small fleets and large, complex accounts; collaborates with internal service teams to ensure efficient execution; 2–5+ years in commercial insurance with transportation/trucking underwriting or brokerage experience; wholesale brokerage environment preferred; strong earning potential through bonus and commission; Irvine, CA-based remote opportunity with collaborative team culture.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of experience in commercial insurance, ideally within Transportation / trucking underwriting or brokerage, Wholesale brokerage environments, Carrier-side transportation underwriting, Broker or underwriting assistant roles, Strong understanding of coverage structures and policy review, Ability to manage high submission volume with attention to detail, Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility over time, Retail brokerage backgrounds will be considered, though wholesale or transportation-specific experience is preferred.
