Job Summary
Complete roadway design plans under direct supervision of a professional engineer while assisting in the development of engineering plans and specifications for transportation projects. Utilize MicroStation and Inroads/Openroads software to support CAD work and project calculations, ensuring designs are completed on time and within budget. Collaborate individually and in small groups to deliver solutions for public and private sector clients. Requires a BS in Civil Engineering, EIT Certification, and familiarity with Microsoft products.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Civil Engineering
- 0-3 years of previous roadway design or other transportation engineering experience
- EIT Certification required
- Must be willing to travel on occasion
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver's license prior to employment is preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microstation and Inroads/Openroads software a plus
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with familiarity with Microsoft Products such as Excel and Outlook
