Job Summary
Complete roadway design plans under the direct supervision of a professional engineer and assist in the development of engineering plans and specifications for transportation projects. Provide design support using MicroStation and Inroads/Openroads software while working alone or in small groups. Manage assigned projects to ensure timely completion within budget, utilizing Microsoft Excel and Outlook for coordination. Requires EIT certification, a BS in Civil Engineering, and valid driver's license. Includes on-site work in Alpharetta, GA with occasional travel.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Civil Engineering
- 0-3 years of previous roadway design or other transportation engineering experience
- EIT Certification required
- Must be willing to travel on occasion
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver's license prior to employment is preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microstation and Inroads/Openroads software a plus
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with familiarity with Microsoft Products such as Excel and Outlook
