Job Summary
Serve as a technical resource on car seat safety, occupant protection systems, and NCAP-related test procedures. Lead or assist with the development of research plans, data reviews, and technical presentations related to NCAP and child safety in vehicles. Coordinate and support engineering evaluations and vehicle testing initiatives while acting as a key liaison for internal and external coordination efforts. Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to stakeholders using Microsoft Office Suite tools. Take ownership of projects, providing leadership and direction across multi-disciplinary teams. Maintain excellent attention to detail while managing multiple priorities effectively. This role supports the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in Washington, DC, requiring a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) with a Public Trust security clearance.
Required Qualifications

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Strong presentation development and data communication abilities
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills
- Proactive ownership mindset and ability to lead efforts independently
- Strong interpersonal skills and clear, effective communication
- Team-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Public Trust level
- A minimum of three (3) years US residency, or US Citizenship
