Job Summary
Transportation Analyst responsible for managing transportation processes to support customer requirements and business objectives; provide shipment support including problem resolution, tracking, and expedite management; identify cost-effective transportation solutions that maintain service, efficiency, and on-time performance; research, estimate, and negotiate transportation options and carrier solutions; analyze transportation data and recommend actions based on cost, transit time, mode selection, and performance trends; apply logistics policies and processes to support supply chain execution; support distressed suppliers by identifying alternative transportation service levels; execute international freight transactions in compliance with federal and regulatory requirements; role is 100% onsite at listed locations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding and/or transportation modes, including FTL, LTL, international and domestic air freight, and ocean
- 5+ years of experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, interpreting findings, and presenting analysis and recommendations to management
- 5+ years of experience partnering with business stakeholders to resolve issues and provide a high level of customer service
- 5+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in related field (preferred)
