Job Summary
Part Time Transportation Aide responsible for aiding with safe transportation during visitations to prisons and correctional facilities in New Jersey for Parent/Child visitations. The role involves accompanying youth into facilities and staying with them during visits. Candidates must possess a valid NJ commercial driver's license (CDL) and passenger endorsement, with a clean driving record. Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills, and the ability to assist participants while following safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid NJ commercial driver's license (CDL) and passenger endorsement
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift and assist participants and family members as needed
- Ability to work flexible hours, with possibility of some evenings and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a caregiving and transport role is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when dealing with participants and families of varying needs
