Job Summary
Escort patients and residents from assigned rooms to vehicles and appointments, then drive facility vehicles to transport them to and from scheduled appointments. Report any incidents, accidents, changes in patient or resident condition, requests, problems, and complaints to your supervisor immediately. Maintain a clean driving record from the Nevada DMV and operate an automobile safely while knowing valley roads. Full-time day shift Monday through Friday with schedule flexibility preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must have knowledge of valley roads
- Must provide a clean driving record from Nevada DMV
- Must have a high school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent
- Must have a Class (E) Driver's License
- Must be able to operate an automobile
- Must have a valid unencumbered driver's license in the state of operation (no motor vehicle violations including, but not limited to, Driving Under the Influence or other related charges)
- Reliable transportation required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience transporting patient's/ residents for a hospital or nursing home is preferred
