Job Summary
Drive residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and scheduled activities while monitoring their safety and comfort. Assist with mobility by helping residents ambulate and transfer using proper technique and assistive devices. Record vital signs when needed and observe for changes in residents' condition during transport, reporting concerns promptly. Support the team by assisting with CNA duties in the facility when not transporting residents. Maintain a clean driving record and complete the Employee Driver Proficiency program. Requires a valid Texas driver's license, current Nursing Assistant Certification, and age 25 or older.
Required Qualifications
- Holds a valid driver's license and has a clean driving record
- Is at least 25 years old (for insurance requirements)
- Has a current Nursing Assistant Certification in Texas
- Can pass the DMV check and qualify for company insurance
- Completes the Employee Driver Proficiency program
- Demonstrates strong communication, patience, and attention to detail
- Is comfortable with both caregiving and safe vehicle operation
