Job Summary
Allocate drivers and vehicles to loads efficiently, planning start times to meet dispatch KPIs and adhering to WTD regulations. Proactively communicate with third-party hauliers to ensure collection times and liaise with shunting operations for pre-loading and unloading. Maintain clear communication with drivers regarding accurate start times, load information, and directions while ensuring orders are delivered in the right condition. Report all accidents in line with Health & Safety policy and allocate equipment to meet maintenance intervals. Work Sunday to Thursday nights from 17:00-01:30 at a salary of £37,724.20 per annum.
Required Qualifications
- Transport experience in FMCG environment
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
- Able to work as part of a team or individually
- Knowledge & experience of tachograph / driving rules and regulations
- Attention to detail / accuracy
- Good IT skills including Microsoft office packages
- Effectively prioritise workload in order to meet set deadlines
- Shift: Sunday To Thursday nights,17:00-01:30
