Job Summary
Transport Supervisor responsible for coordinating 24/7 transport operations, supervising transport staff, and supporting the Transport Manager to control costs within budget. Key duties include maximizing backloads, improving trailer utilisation, coordinating drivers and subcontract haulage across multiple sites, acting as a point of escalation for queries, building relationships with team members, vendors and hauliers, liaising with traffic and admin teams to maintain performance, reporting issues, communicating network/route plan changes, and seeking cost reductions through tactical routing. Requires strong transport knowledge in a busy environment, experience with transport policy/strategy development and master planning, and proficiency in IT and MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- Have previous transport and office experience

- high level of numeracy

- excellent communication skills
- good IT skills including Microsoft Office packages
