Transport Specialist - Import/Export

Job Summary
Coordinate and monitor international inbound shipments, arranging collections and deliveries with approved carriers while tracking progress and managing exceptions. Prepare, review, and maintain transport and customs documentation to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Liaise with internal departments, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to support business growth and provide solutions for the Global Transport team. Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies. After onboarding, gradually expand responsibilities to include outbound transport activities through hands-on training and mentoring.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of experience leading IT staff
- 7+ years of proven experience as a Senior System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar IT role
- Demonstrated experience managing Office 365, Microsoft Azure, and AWS environments
- Proven track record in IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and cloud administration
- Strong knowledge of databases, networks (LAN/WAN), and patch management
- In-depth understanding of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
- Good command of both English and Dutch
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
