Job Summary
As a Transport Specialist, you will ensure timely and cost-effective shipping operations while maintaining and improving logistics processes. Key responsibilities include acting as the primary contact for freight forwarders, managing transport requests across various modes, preparing customs documentation, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. The role requires strong communication, organization, negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of transport and customs cost structures. Candidates should have 5 to 10 years of experience in international trade and fluency in English.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years of experience in international trade (import/export)
- Strong communication and relational skills
- Very good organization and planning skills, efficiency in operational tasks
- Proven ability to analyze and solve problems
Desired Qualifications
- Mastery of English: Ability to conduct technical and managerial discussions in English. Any additional language is a plus.
- Mastery of Office Suite
- Negotiation skills, cost awareness, and a pragmatic approach with an innovative mindset
- Knowledge of transport and customs cost structures
