Job Summary
Collaborate with the Myworkforce team to ensure compliance of all resource planning, safety, and cost-effective utilisation of drivers and equipment. Monitor and control the driver de-briefing process to achieve agreed performance standards while managing the driver workforce to maintain full legal compliance. Conduct employee investigations and grievances when required, and manage recruitment of permanent and temporary staff for business peaks. Support daily operational workflows by answering urgent queries and working with customer and site management to address performance concerns. Ensure all personnel files, vehicle checks, and defect reporting procedures are up to date, and escalate maintenance issues, accidents, and near misses to the Transport Manager and H&S team. Work Monday to Friday night shifts from 6pm to 6am with a salary up to £33,700.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record in Transport & Logistics industry
- Demonstrable experience of successful resource management
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Proven track record of working to clearly defined service delivery KPI's
- Excellent understanding of Health and Safety processes
- Energetic and has a natural desire to generate and drive improvements
- Good people engagement skills
- Self-driven
- Positive can-do attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a customer facing environment
- Monday - Friday night shift 6pm to 6am
