Job Summary
Conduct technical risk management for international transport and supply chains, focusing on loss prevention and mitigation. Perform regular site inspections and risk assessments of storage facilities worldwide while advising clients on packaging solutions, transport equipment, and cargo securing. Monitor and supervise cargo handling operations for insured goods, investigating losses to identify root causes and develop preventive measures. Deliver independent training sessions and workshops for internal stakeholders and external clients. Requires a university degree in engineering or logistics, fluent German and English, and willingness for international travel. Offers flexible working hours, up to 60% remote work, and health management programs.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in engineering, natural sciences, logistics, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent qualification gained through the maritime industry or extensive experience as a marine surveyor/loss adjuster
- Professional experience in an industrial environment
- solid understanding of global transportation and supply chain processes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Analytical mindset combined with a structured and efficient way of working
- Fluent German and English language skills (minimum C1 level)
- Willingness to undertake international business travel
