Job Summary
Transport Planner required to support the Local Transport Plan development and deliver strategic transport initiatives in Norfolk. The role involves gathering and analysing evidence to prepare business cases for bid writing, shaping strategic transport policies, and providing strategic oversight of infrastructure programmes. The successful candidate will build partnerships across local authorities and external organisations, represent the County Council on partnerships, and work with rail networks and local groups to deliver multi-agency projects. The position is fixed-term for 12 months (backfill for the current postholder) with 37 hours per week, based at County Hall, Norwich, with a mix of working from home and office, and potential relocation expenses where applicable.
