Transport Planner

Oversee day-to-day transport operation planning across multiple facilities and manufacturing sites, coordinating daily fleet workload and subcontracting. Maintain and update customer reports and databases, respond to queries from customers and sub-contract hauliers, and liaise with Traffic and Administration teams to uphold performance standards. Deliver professional communications and support driver training, completing pre/post-briefs for driver shifts. Demonstrate high-level transport planning expertise in a busy environment, with strong problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills, and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Seek continuous improvements to benefit the company and customers; work in a small, proactive team with initiative. Knowledge of SAP, BPCS and Road Runner would be advantageous.
