Job Summary
Join WSP's Transport & Mobility Planning team as a Transport Planner or Assistant Transport Planner, where you will support a variety of transport projects from inception to completion, developing transport strategies, policies, and business cases. Responsibilities include delivering technical and commercial inputs, collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team, and contributing to the financial performance of projects. The role requires prior experience in transport planning and design, strong report writing and communication skills, and familiarity with software such as TRICS and Junction 10.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in transport and mobility planning and design
- Transport data analysis experience
- Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present complex information clearly to clients and colleagues
- Experience of working with Local Authority and Combined Authority clients
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with software packages such as TRICS, Junction 10 and LinSIG
- Understanding of project management skills developed across a range of transport and multi-disciplinary projects
- Creative, innovative mind-set, lateral thinker
