Job Summary
Provide safe and effective patient care addressing age-specific variations and cultural needs. Communicate patient care plans with all team members and coordinate prioritized care to prevent risks during transport. Support the Transport RN with recognition, reporting, and re-evaluation of patient condition changes. Maintain transport equipment readiness by checking all gear at shift start and contacting personnel for repairs. Complete educational activities to maintain competency and participate in benchmarking activities to identify best practices. Perform other duties as assigned. Full-time variable shift in Jonesboro.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree or Equivalent
- Respiratory - 3 Years
- Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRCP) - Arkansas State Medical Board
- C-NPT within 24 months of hire
- NREMT-Basic within 18 months of hire
- Transport EMT within 18 months of hire
- National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians - Basic "EMT" (NREMT-Basic)
- Neonatal Pediatric Transport (C-NPT) - NCC
- Transport EMT - Basic - Arkansas Department of Health
- Flu vaccines are required
- Safety sensitive position (cannot be filled by a candidate who is a current user of medical marijuana)
