Job Summary
Transport and deliver loaded and empty tanker, bulk, semi, and van trucks in a professional, safe, efficient, and timely manner. Hook and unhook trailers, operate pumps and valves to fill tanks, and ensure all products and tools are secured using approved methods. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and report defects or incidents immediately. Provide excellent customer service, coordinate with dispatchers and management to fulfill orders, and accurately complete all required paperwork and records. Maintain positive relationships with customers and employees while adhering to all safety, security, and regulatory standards. Work up to 14-hour days and 70-hour weeks, performing additional warehouse duties like loading and unloading as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Clean driving record
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment DOT drug screen and background check
- Must be able to drive manual transmission
- Ability to drive/work in all traffic and weather conditions
- Able and willing to work up to 14-hour days, 70-hour weeks
- Proficient verbal communication skills and the ability to listen, understand and follow directions
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Ability to make timely, safe, and sound decisions
- Flexibility to work within constantly changing priorities
- Ability to do basic math
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment in a professional manner
- Must be able to maintain DOT Medical Card
- Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the country in which they applied
