Job Summary
Transport Expert leads strategy and project delivery in transport while spearheading business development. Responsibilities include leading business development efforts to secure projects with development partners and private sector clients; building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders including Multilateral Development Banks, governments, and private sector players; serving as Project Manager or Team Lead for priority transport projects; developing and mentoring consultants; representing the firm at events to build visibility and thought leadership; contributing to donor and client assessments, pipeline development, and strategic partnerships; and collaborating with a high-performing team to expand the practice and deliver innovative transport solutions. Requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field and 10+ years in infrastructure, with strong expertise in policy, economics, finance, or engineering in transport, plus excellent English and favorable language skills; willingness to travel regionally and internationally.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in economics, public policy, finance, engineering, transport, or other relevant fields.
- Ten or more years of professional experience in the infrastructure sector, with significant experience in freight transport (aviation, rail, corridor development, roads, etc.).
- Expertise in policy, economics, finance, and/or engineering in transport infrastructure.
- Strong track record in business development and proven ability to grow new business initiatives.
- Demonstrated Project Management experience, ideally in international development or infrastructure consulting.
- The legal right to work permanently in the United States (i.e., without sponsorship presently or in future).
