Job Summary
Transport Escort (Part-Time) supports individuals to travel safely to and from a Day Centre Hub, working alongside a driver to ensure passengers are safe, comfortable and supported. Responsibilities include assisting passengers boarding/exiting the vehicle (including wheelchair users), maintaining seating and safety during transport, providing physical and emotional support to encourage independence, communicating concerns to managers, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver excellent care. Desirable experience includes working with elderly or vulnerable adults and roles in transport, care or community settings. Schedule is Monday to Friday with fixed 25 hours per week and no weekends; location is Southampton, UK; DBS check and right-to-work in the UK required.
