Job Summary
Deliver fuel safely and efficiently by following proper loading and unloading procedures while maintaining the transport truck through inspections and maintenance record reviews. Account for funds and inventory by operating a handheld terminal, maintaining trip reports, and documenting meter and odometer readings. Provide superior customer service to strive for zero driver-related complaints. This role requires a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements and the ability to lift 50 to 75 lbs. Applicants must work outside in all weather conditions and satisfy English Language Proficiency requirements. Required Qualifications
- Clean driving record
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Hazmat endorsement
- Tanker endorsement
- Air brake endorsement
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate allowing for operation in interstate commerce
- Ability to quickly obtain stated license, certificate and required endorsements
- Line-haul experience in the propane industry
- Possession of a North Slope Training Card
- Ability to lift and pull equipment that weighs 50 to 75 lbs
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to satisfy the English Language Proficiency qualification requirements in 49 CFR §391.11(b)(2)
- Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public
- Ability to understand highway traffic signs and signals in English
- Ability to respond to official inquiries
- Ability to make entries on reports and records
