Job Summary
Transport Driver transports residents to and from appointments and activities, assists residents safely in and out of the vehicle, ensures the vehicle’s interiors and exteriors are maintained, interacts with residents and families in a polite and professional manner, maintains accurate trip records, coordinates with care team on transportation schedules, and adheres to HIPAA and resident-rights principles. The role requires non-remote work, on-call weekdays and weekends occasionally, and involves performing essential driving and safety duties with a focus on compassionate elder care.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid state-issued Driver’s License
- Clean motor vehicle record
- Previous experience with elderly individuals or in a caregiving/transportation role is preferred
