Job Summary
Transport Driver for MPC responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of petroleum products to regional terminals, refineries, and other locations. Home daily with a full-time local schedule. Duties include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, driving a tank truck/trailer or tractor/trailer, complying with DOT regulations and MPC procedures, and completing regulatory paperwork. Requires Active Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Vehicle endorsements, ability to drive interstate, and adherence to safety and driving record requirements. Physical requirements include working outside in all weather, lifting 50-65 lbs, and operating vehicles for extended periods. Required Qualifications
- Active Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Hazardous Materials endorsement
- Tank Vehicle endorsement
- Ability to drive interstate
- Must maintain satisfactory driving record
- Consent to review driving record with company
- FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse registration and consent for records review
- DOT physical and current medical card
- Pass required drug and alcohol screenings
- Pass three-year DOT safety background check and seven-year criminal background check
- Complete pre-trip and road tests to demonstrate proficiency with required equipment
- Operate manual and/or automatic transmission
- Shift support up to 12-hour AM/PM shifts
- Ability to lift 50-65 lbs
- Must work outside in all weather conditions
- Must follow DOT regulations and site SOPs
- Complete regulatory and customary paperwork
- Report incidents per company procedures
