Job Summary
Ensure the regional pickup and safe delivery of propane gas and other products as directed. Maintain the preventive maintenance program for the transport truck and trailer, performing daily inspections to verify equipment is in safe and compliant operating condition. Follow DOT requirements and company-safe driver guidelines while completing all required paperwork, including certifications and logs, to ensure regulatory compliance. Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures while working in all weather conditions and handling loads up to 25lbs. Availability for after-hour calls and potential overnight stays is required.
Required Qualifications
- CDL Class A license with HazMat endorsement
- No lifting restrictions
- Availability for after hour calls
- Ability to bend, stoop, and twist while handling weight of 25lbs
- Work and drive in all types of weather
- May require overnight stay
- Ability to work maximum hours allowed under DOT hours of service regulations
