Job Summary
Conduct daily non-medical transportation for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to support meaningful community outings at least three times per week. Assist participants with personal hygiene, behavioral challenges, and developmental goals including budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Develop real, meaningful relationships with individuals you serve while helping them take initiative to enjoy favorite activities. Maintain a valid driver's license held for at least one year and a clean motor vehicle record that meets company insurability policy. Full-time 40-hour schedule from 8:00a-4:00p in the Akron Portage Lakes area.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license held for at least one year (post-permit)
- Clean motor vehicle record that meets Sevita's insurability policy
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's license
- Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination
