Job Summary
Assist residents with loading/unloading from facility-approved vehicles and ensure safe transportation to scheduled medical appointments or activities. Maintain interior/exterior of vehicles, monitor maintenance logs, and arrange regular maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations). Demonstrate safe clinical transfer techniques for Mobile Patients, including Ingress/Egress, securing wheelchairs, and lifting/mobilizing weights up to 75 pounds in confined spaces. Make complex decisions for a highly dependent resident base. Requires ability to read and interpret manuals, present information to managers/coworkers/residents, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Must have CNA training and ongoing CE to maintain certification. Valid driver’s license, GPS familiarity, and successful drug screening/background check are required. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a valid DL
- Must be familiar with GPS and local driving area
- No Traffic Crimes in the last 7 years (DUI, DWS, Reckless Driving, No Traffic Felonies)
- Not more than 2 moving violations in 3 years
- Not more than one accident in 3 years
- Pass a drug screen and background check
- Must have CNA training and maintain CE to maintain certification
