Transplant Organ Preservationist

Job Summary
Manage supplies and medications for transplant organ recovery cases while traveling with surgical teams to set up sterile fields and back tables. Assist surgeons during organ removal procedures, evaluate donor organs for suitability, and monitor preservation parameters to ensure quality outcomes. Package organs according to regulatory standards and coordinate transport and delivery to recipient hospitals, including necessary documentation and communication. Participate in quality assessment activities, data entry, and report compilation while maintaining environmental sterility and safety protocols. Requires ground and air travel participation; full-time 40-hour workweek.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Organ Preservationist OR NBSTSA CST OR NCCT TS-C
- 2 years of surgical technology, organ preservation or donation experience
- Experience in other medical fields, such as RN, EMT, etc., may be considered
- Direct Patient Care
- Operating Room
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to travel (ground and air)
