Job Summary
Clinical Transplant Coordinator II reports to the Transplant Programs Manager of the Transplant Center and develops uses advanced clinical management, consultation, education and research to promote quality care for transplant patient populations; responsible for ongoing training of new staff and keeping up to date with UNOS and CMS regulatory changes; requires a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and RN licensure with possible ANA generalist certification; responsibilities include education, research-based practice, and coordination of transplant programs within MUSC Transplant Center.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- three years related nursing experience
- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
- Some positions require certification as a generalist in a related specialty area by the American Nurses Association (ANA)
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
