Job Summary
Conduct outpatient hepatology and transplant care while participating in full transplant call rotation. Perform endoscopy and colonoscopy within the call structure and provide inpatient consult service and transplant service coverage. Collaborate with GI fellows and multidisciplinary teams to manage MELD/waitlist, transplant oncology, living donor programs, and immunosuppression protocols. Support fellowship training and educational activities within a nationally ranked academic center averaging 20 transplants monthly. Requires board certification in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology, ACGME-accredited fellowship completion, and eligibility for a Georgia medical license.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Board Certified in Transplant Hepatology
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Transplant Hepatology Fellowship
- Eligible for Georgia medical license
- Eligible for DEA
